tapodhanaiśca dhanino devaiśca dhanadārcitā .
pūjyamānā babhau tatra raveriva yathā prabhā . .76. .
samāpya niyamaṃ sātha gṛhītvāśokaputrakam93 .
girīndratanayā94 bhāti dharā iva jalokṣitā ..77..

Worshiped there by the rich in austerity, by the gods, and by Kubera,
[the goddess] shone like the radiance of the sun.
Then, having completed her vow and taken the aśoka sapling as a son,
the daughter of the lord of mountains shone like the earth sprinkled with water.
