like the great [sound] of rains upon the peaks of Meru […],
just so the noise of the pramathas carrying seats resounded,
like the rumbling of clouds full of rain […].
With seats resting on their shoulders, in their hands, and upon their heads,
the pramathas shone like mountains endowed with suns and fires.
Some brought them swiftly, while others held them;
those pramathas, of joyful appearance and possessing great seats,
spread out each one hundred yojanas wide, separated by a yojana.
