sanatkumāra uvāca
satyasya mahataścaiva janasya tapasastathā .
bhavyabhūtabhavānāṃ ca saptānāmūrghvataḥ sthitaḥ1 . . 1 ..
loko bhagavataḥ śambhoryatrāste sakalaḥ śivaḥ .
nāsau tarkavinirdeśyo lokāstasmin pratiṣṭhitāḥ ..2 . .
ūrdhvaṃ tiryagadhastācca lokāstadvinibandhanāḥ .
brahmāṇḍaṃ sakalaṃ tasmiñchivaloke pratiṣṭhitam ..3 . .
nāsau naśyati saṃhāre dhruvaḥ sthāṇuḥ surālayaḥ3 .
yatrāhaṃ sanakādyāśca brahmā caiva pitāmahaḥ4 ..4..
bālakhilyapurogāśca5 siddhāśca kapilādayaḥ .
śivayogapariprāptyā6 satvādiguṇavarjitāḥ ..5 . .

Sanatkumāra said:
Situated above the seven [worlds]—Satya, Mahas, / Jana, and Tapas, as well as those of the future, past, and present— // 1
is the world of the blessed Śambhu, where the manifest Śiva abides. / It cannot be indicated by reasoning; the worlds are established within it. // 2
Above, horizontally, and below, the worlds are bound to it. / The entire cosmic egg is established in that Śivaloka. // 3
It does not perish at the dissolution, constant, immovable, the abode of the gods, / where I, Sanaka and others, Brahmā the Grandsire, // 4
led by the Bālakhilyas, and the perfected ones like Kapila, / having attained Śivayoga, free from qualities such as sattva, // 5
remain blissful, O Vyāsa, serving that Lord. / The Lord is an ultimate subtle particle, accessible through devotion to the wise. // 6
Endowed with supreme sovereignty, the Lord of forms abides there. / Forbearance, truth, firmness, austerity, and detachment, // 7
