śivabhāvarpitātmāno ye narā rudratatparāḥ .
yatra tatra mṛtā vatsa teṣāṃ tatrāspadaṃ smṛtama35 ..41 . .
ye ca māheśvarā vyāsa tiṣṭhante śaṅkarālaye .
munayaḥ śaṅkaraṃ bhaktāstān śṛṇuṣva samāhitaḥ ..42..

Those men whose souls are offered in Śiva-consciousness, who are devoted to Rudra, / wherever they die, my child, their abode is said to be there. / And those Māheśvaras, O Vyāsa, who dwell in the abode of Śaṅkara, / the sages devoted to Śaṅkara—hear about them with a focused mind:
