vidhūmā cāmṛtā caiva nikuṇṭhā bahuvistarā .
etāḥ sūkṣmatarā nāḍyaḥ saṃbhidya daśapāvakam .
tarpayanti sadā somaṃ bhūtādhāraṃ payomṛtam . . 17. .
sa tābhistarpitaḥ somaḥ18 sarvānnarasavīryataḥ .
saṃchādayati vṛddhastāṃ19 jīvamadhyagatāṃ śikhām .. 18 ..

as well as Vidhūmā, Amṛtā, Nikuṇṭhā, and Bahuvistarā:
these most subtle channels, having pierced the ten fires,
always nourish Soma, the support of all creatures, the milky nectar. // 17
Soma, nourished by them by means of the essence and potency of all foods,
increased, covers that flame situated within the living soul. // 18
