atha vṛtte vivāhe tu bhavasyāmitatejasaḥ .
praharṣamatulaṃ gatvā devāḥ saha pitāmahāḥ1 . . 1 . .
tuṣṭuvurvāgbhiriṣṭābhiḥ praṇamanto maheśvaram .
namaḥ parvataliṅgāya parvateśāya vai namaḥ . .2 . .

Now, when the wedding of Bhava of boundless splendor was complete, / experiencing supreme joy, the gods along with the Grandfather / praised Maheśvara with pleasing words, bowing down: / 'Homage to the mountain-liṅga, homage indeed to the Lord of the mountain!
