7.2.49_60

tataḥ sa bhagavāndevo brahmā tāmāha susvaram .
devi yenaiva sṛṣṭāsi na vinā yastvayā śubhe1 ..1 . .
sa bhartā tava deveśo2 bhavitā mā tapaḥ kṛthā3.
tataḥ pradakṣiṇaṃ kṛtvā brahmā vyāsa gireḥ sutām ..2..

Then that blessed god Brahmā said to her in a gentle voice:
“O goddess, by whom indeed you were created, and who is not without you, O auspicious lady,
he, the lord of gods, shall be your husband; do not perform tapas.”
Then, having circumambulated the daughter of the mountain, O Vyāsa, Brahmā
