tathā ramamāṇasya varāhasya citralekhābhāryāyāṃ vṛkanāmnaḥ putrasyotpattiḥ . yadṛcchayā pṛthivyāṃ vicarato vṛkasya himavacchikhare kumārānupasthitau tadālayamāsādya baladarpādudyānadrumabhañjanam . kokāmukhanāmnā kumārānucareṇa vṛkasya bandhanam . nāradamukhāttadvijñāya varāhasya sasaṃbhramaṃ kumāragṛhagamanam .
To the Boar thus sporting, a son named Vṛka is born through his wife Citralekhā. Wandering at will over the earth, Vṛka approaches Kumāra's abode on the peak of the Himālaya in Kumāra's absence, and out of arrogant pride in his strength breaks the trees of the garden. Kumāra's attendant named Kokāmukha binds Vṛka. Learning of this from the mouth of Nārada, the Boar hastily goes to Kumāra's house.
