japyamānaḥ sa19 tulyo20 vai rudrāṇāṃ tu21 bhaviṣyati .
yatra tatra mṛtā martyā yāsyanti tvat22 salokatām . .1 5. .
tato jaṭāplutaṃ vāri23 gṛhītvā hāranirmalam .

While muttering prayers here, he shall indeed become equal to the Rudras; / dying wherever, mortals will attain the same world as you." / Then, taking the water flowing over his matted hair, pure as a pearl necklace, / having said, "Become a river!", the one of great austerity released it. // 15–16
