tataḥ sa bhagavān devaḥ suraśatruniṣūdanaḥ .
prāṅmukhaḥ sa gaṇeśānāmāhvānamakarottadā6 ..4. .
tatassahasraśastatra gaṇādhyakṣā mudā yutāḥ .
saṃprāptāḥ sarvalokeśāstatkṣaṇācca7 mahāmune8 ..5. .

Then that blessed god, the slayer of the foes of the gods, / facing the east, called upon the chiefs of the Gaṇas then. (4) / Thereupon, in thousands, the superintendents of the Gaṇas, endowed with joy, / the lords of all worlds, arrived in that very instant, O great sage. (5)
