gaṇakoṭīśatavṛtaḥ paramamparatāpanaḥ .
tatoparaḥ sahasreṇa koṭīnāṃ gaṇapo vṛtaḥ . .46. .
sūryamālāsrajaṃ bibhradājagāma mahātapāḥ .
sa sūryāpyāyano nāma devasya paramapriyaḥ . .47. .

surrounded by a hundred crores of gaṇas, the tormentor of supreme enemies. / Then another gaṇa-leader, surrounded by a thousand crores, / carrying a garland like an array of suns, arrived, performer of great austerities; / he was named Sūryāpyāyana, exceedingly dear to the god,
