evaṃ stutvā tato devastasmai vyāsa mahātmane .
prāñjaliḥ prayato bhūtvā jayaśabdaṃ cakāra ha . .62. .
tato gaṇā jayetyūcustato devāstato73 surāḥ .
tataḥ sarvāṇi bhūtāni brahmā śakrastathaiva ca . .63 ..

Having thus praised him, O Vyāsa, the god, with cupped hands and composed mind, / uttered the cry of victory to that great-souled one.
Then the gaṇas said, “Victory!”, then the gods, then the suras, / then all living beings, and likewise Brahmā and Śakra.
