yajñāya vasudānāya svargadāya jayāya ca .
savitre sarvadevānāṃ dharmāyānekarūpiṇe . .27. .
amṛtāya vareṇyāya sarvadevastutāya ca .
brahmaṇaśca śirohartre16 yajñasya ca mahātmanaḥ . .8. .

To the sacrifice, the giver of wealth, the bestower of heaven, and to victory; / to the sun among all the gods, to Dharma of multiform shapes;
to the immortal, the choice one, praised by all deities, / who severed the head of Brahmā and the head of the great sacrifice.
