atha devyāsasādaikā1 mātaraṃ parameśvarī .
āsīnāṃ kāñcane śubhre svāda2sane paramārcite ..5. .
sātha3 dṛṣṭavā satīṃ devīmāgatāṃ4 śubharūpiṇīm5 .
āsanena mahārheṇa sambhāvaya6 daninditām ..6 ..

Then the supreme goddess went alone to her mother, / who was seated on a bright golden, well-prepared seat of high honor. (5) / Seeing Satī, the goddess of auspicious form, who had arrived, / she honored that blameless one with a costly seat. (6)
