yogena tadbalaṃ jñātvā dadhīcasya mahātmanaḥ172 .
kṣāmayāmāsa173 viprendraṃ svaṃ cāvāsamathābhyagāt .. 10 5. .
brahmāpi tamṛṣiṃ sāntvya174 pūjayitvā trilokapaḥ175 .
jagāmādarśanaṃ vyāsa saha sarvāmaraistadā .. 1 06..

and realizing by yoga the power of the high-souled Dadhīca, / pacified the lord of vipras and went back to his own dwelling. / Brahmā too, the lord of the three worlds, consoled that seer and honored him, / and then, O Vyāsa, vanished together with all the immortals.
