tasyāśrūṇyapatanbhūmau bindubhūtāni tatra vai .
To that God, the Lord of gods, who in his anger gave me a curse, / we have gone for refuge, together with his consort. // 201
To that God who is the creator of the host of gods, yakṣas, and rākṣasas, / of the siddhas, the sons of Diti, the lords of dānavas, and humans, / of the spirits, domestic beasts, wild animals, birds, and snakes, / we have gone for refuge, together with his consort. // 202
To that God who in his wrath created the great lord of the gaṇas, / the lion-king, Hari of immeasurable power and form, / and his wife endowed with immeasurable virtues and majesty, / we have gone for refuge, together with his consort. // 203
To that God who conquered the gods together with Varuṇa and the guardians of wealth, / together with Brahmā, the performer of a hundred sacrifices, Viṣṇu, and Vāyu, / having Indra as chief, along with the sages possessing great weapons, / we have gone for refuge, together with his consort. // 204
Whatever impurity and evil was committed against you / out of ignorance, or out of attachment, fault, and delusion, / let Śarva, the soul of the universe, out of his noble nature / forgive all of that today for me together with my wife. // 205
Sanatkumāra said:
Then, having praised the Lord of gods in this manner, his eyes turbid with tears, / stretching out his arms, he fell to the earth with his whole body. // 206
The mighty God himself, O fortunate one, then lifted up / that Dakṣa, who had surrendered with tear-clouded eyes, along with the Goddess. // 207
His tears fell upon the ground, turning into drops there.
