viśrāntāstatra te sarve20 ye ucchrayān21 narake22 punaḥ .
pātyante vivaśā mūḍhā yāvat pāpaṃ23 kṣayaṃ gatam24 . .8.42.1 0. .
uttīrṇaḥ socchrayānetān saṃsāraṃ pratipradyate .
tīrṇontameṣu25 ca punarnarakeṣu pṛthak pṛthak .

Having rested there, all of them who [fall] from the heights into hell again, / helpless and bewildered, are cast down until the sin is exhausted. (10) / Having crossed over these heights, one returns to saṃsāra. / Having crossed over the last hells, one by one, (11a-c)
