pādena10 hanyāt pitaraṃ mātaraṃ pūjyameva vā .
anyāṃ11 kāñcit12 striyaṃ13 vāpi hastenātha kaśādibhiḥ14 ..7. .
tathā pravajitaṃ15 caiva agniṃ vāpyatha laṃghayet .
bālamarthakṛte yaśca mṛtyunā yojayettathā . .8..

He who strikes his father, mother, or an elder with his foot, / or any other woman with his hand or with whips and the like; // / and likewise he who steps over a renunciant or fire, / and he who brings death upon a child for the sake of wealth;
