mahāpadmastataścānyo nirayo romaharṣaṇaḥ .
yatra1 te kiṅkarā ghorā2 yamasya yamasaṃnibhāḥ3 .. 1 . .
jantūnāmāyudhaiḥ kuṇṭhai4 rnighṛṇāḥ pāpakarmiṇām .
utkṛtyotkṛtya māṃsāni tebhyo yacchanti vai punaḥ ..2. .

Next to that is another hell, Mahāpadma, hair-raising, / where those terrible servants of Yama, resembling Yama himself, / mercilessly slicing off again and again the flesh of sinful living beings / with blunt weapons, indeed feed it back to them.
