kārīṣyāmagnivarṇāyāṃ pacyate bhṛśadāruṇam .
tatassa tena dāhena duḥkhitaḥ paramārtimān ..5. .
dāhapraśamanārthāya taḍāge vinimajjati2 .
tatra kṣāreṇa taptena3 dviguṇaṃ vedanārditaḥ4 . .6 ..

He is cooked very dreadfully in a pit of dried dung burning like fire. / Then, pained by that burning and in extreme distress, // he plunges into a pond to quench the burning; / there, afflicted twofold with agony by heated caustic brine,
