putrohaṃ devadevādvai rudrāt kiṃ nābhibhāṣase .

Were I not directed by you, as if delighted: 'Go, study'? / I, that very person, having studied, have arrived today; why do you not speak to me? / Indeed, obtained by your austerity and supreme concentration, / I am a son [born] from Rudra, the God of gods; why do you not speak?
