bhartṛrūpeṇa gatvā ca kāmena sa vimohitaḥ .
na ca kaścidvijānāti113 tathā114 vartantamantaśaḥ . .54. .
atha hāla115 iti khyāto mṛgacārī mahātapāḥ .
tasya patnī sudharmābhūnnāmnā rūpavatī116 dṛḍham ..55..

And going in the form of their husbands, deluded by desire, / no one realized that he was acting thus secretly.
Now, there was a great ascetic named Hāla who grazed among deer; / his wife was Sudharmā by name, exceedingly beautiful.
