atha te tasya vacanaṃ sarva evānumenire .
āsannamṛtyavopathyamannaṃ108 prāṇabhṛto109 yathā .. 1 29. .
uttasthurlokanāśāya matiṃ kṛtvāmaradviṣaḥ .
udanvanta ivodvelāḥ pralaye mārutākulāḥ .. 8.60.130 . .

Then they all approved of his word, / just as living beings whose death is near approve of harmful food. // Having made up their minds for the destruction of the world, the enemies of the immortals rose up, / like oceans overflowing their shores, stirred up by the wind at the end of time.
