cintayābhiparītātmā duḥkhena ca samāhataḥ4 .
jantūnāṃ mokṣaṇopāyaṃ mūḍhacetā na jajñivān5 . . 2. .

His mind overwhelmed with worry and stricken with sorrow, / with confused mind he did not know any means for liberating living beings.
When, overcome with worry, he did not speak to those ancestors, / then all those ancestors said this to Sukeśa:
