sa yogaṃ punarāsthāya viṣṇuraiśvaryasaṃyutaḥ .
yuyudhe śaṃkukarṇena sa cainaṃ pratyayudhyata . .46 . .
tayostu yogeśvarayo24 ryuktayormunisattama .
babhūva sumahad yuddhaṃ25 yogenaiva parasparam ..47..

Employing yoga once more, Viṣṇu, endowed with sovereign majesty,
fought with Śaṅkukarṇa, and he fought back against him.
Between those two lords of yoga who were concentrated in contemplation, O best of sages,
a tremendous battle took place, purely through yoga, with one another.
