kālenāparipūrṇena mānavasyāpi bhānuja .
na tvaṃ nāśayitā23 nāma kimu putrasya śūlinaḥ ..8.72.50 . .
tejo bhagavataḥ śambhoryad bhaviṣyatyanuttamam .
sa kathaṃ vadhyatāṃ yāyāt24 tava śakrasya vo vibho25 . .51 ..

When his allotted time is not fulfilled, even of an ordinary mortal, O son of Bhānu, / you are certainly not the destroyer; how much less of the Trident-bearer's son! / That splendor of the lord Śambhu which will be peerless, / how could it be liable to death by you or by Śakra, O lord?
