tato viṣṇusahāyāṃste gatvā tacchṛṃgamuttamam35 .
ūcurhutāśanaṃ devaṃ vacaḥ stutipurassaram . .8.72.6 0 . .
tvamagne sarvadevānāṃ hitakṛtsarvatovyayaḥ .
praviśya trāhi naḥ sarvāñchaṅkarāya nivedaya . .61 ..

Then, having Viṣṇu as their ally, they went to that excellent peak, / and spoke to the god Fire with words accompanied by praise: / 'O Agni, you work welfare for all the gods; you are everywhere imperishable. / Having entered, protect us all: announce [our arrival] to Śaṅkara.
