sanatkumāra uvāca
sa yuddhayajñastatrāgryo1 rājyārthamabhavattadā .
tatra yajvā2 svayaṃ devaḥ3 sahasrākṣaḥ pratāpavān ..1..

Sanatkumāra said:
That foremost battle-sacrifice then took place for the sake of sovereignty.
There, the illustrious thousand-eyed god himself was the sacrificer. (1)
