āādhāvantaṃ ca vegena vihastaṃ ripumaryamā .
jaghāna2 bahubhirbāṇairvṛṣṭyā megho yathācalam ..3..
śarānagaṇayanneva hiraṇyakaśipoḥ sutaḥ .
krodhānmānācca darpācca vegena samadhāvata ..54..

Aryaman struck with many arrows the enemy charging with speed and without weapons, / just as a cloud [strikes] a mountain with rain.
Paying no heed at all to the arrows, the son of Hiraṇyakaśipu, / out of wrath, pride, and arrogance, rushed forward with speed.
