tānāpatata evātha rudrādityāḥ pramanyavaḥ .
rurudhurvijane10 yadvad gajān siṃhāḥ samūrjitāḥ .. 19. .
teṣāṃ teṣāṃ ca saṃgrāmaḥ sughoraḥ samapadyata .
araṇyenyonyasaṃpātānmattānāṃ dantināmiva ..8.81.2 0 ..

As they were charging, the Rudras and Ādityas, filled with wrath, / checked them, like powerful lions [checking] elephants in a desolate wilderness. / A most dreadful battle took place between them, / like that of rutting tuskers clashing with one another in a forest.
