bho bho dānavaśārdūlā daityāśca suraśatravaḥ .
kiṃ palāyatha23 tiṣṭhadhvaṃ mā bhayaṃ vostu dānavāḥ ..32. .
kva gatā dānavā yūyaṃ sukhaṃ lapsyatha vā na vā .
ete balamajānanto24 devāḥ pūrvaṃ mahābalāḥ . .33 . .
na pramardanti pātāle sthitānnāpyasurottamāḥ25 .
niḥśeṣān pramathiṣyanti pātālepi kulādhamāḥ ..34..

"Ho, ho, tigers among Dānavas and Daityas, enemies of the gods! / Why do you flee? Halt! Let there be no fear for you, Dānavas! / Where will you go, Dānavas, and will you find happiness or not? / These gods of great strength, not recognizing their strength formerly, / did not crush those abiding in Pātāla, nor the best of Asuras; / [now] will the lowest of their race destroy you without remainder, even in Pātāla?
