āmaṃ caturguṇaṃ proktaṃ brāhmaṇānāṃ yudhiṣṭhira /
vedoktena vidhānena dvijāḥ pūjyāḥ prayatnataḥ //

Uncooked [grain] is said to bring fourfold [merit] for brāhmaṇas, O Yudhiṣṭhira; / the twice-born are to be worshipped with effort according to the rite prescribed by the Veda,
