ityuktvāntardadhe devo nāradas tatra liṅginam /
sthāpayāmāsa rājendra sarvasattvopakārakam //
Having spoken thus, the god vanished, and Nārada there
established the phallic emblem, O king of kings, beneficial to all beings.
