mārkaṇḍeya uvāca:
tato gacchettu rājendra tīrthadvayam anuttamam /
dadhichandaṃ madhuchandaṃ sarvapāpakṣayaṃ karam //

Mārkaṇḍeya said:
Then one should go, O king of kings, to the two incomparable sacred bathing sites,
Dadhichanda and Madhuchanda, which effect the destruction of all sins.
