jātismarā śubhācārā narmadāyāḥ prabhāvataḥ /
pitroktā sā ca kanyā vai vivāhāya prakalpitā //
O king, / she remembers her past lives and is of virtuous conduct by the power of the Narmadā. / Addressed by her father, the maiden was proposed for marriage:
