tato rāmeṇa rakṣo 'pi jitaḥ saṃkhye mahābalaḥ /
vanaṃ bhagnaṃ hato rakṣo gatvā vāyusutena vai //

Then, in the battle, that mighty rākṣasa was conquered by Rāma. / The forest was destroyed and the rākṣasa was slain, after the son of the wind went there.
