104.25

tadā hatas tu śastreṇa kaṇṭhena ṛṣisattamaḥ /
brahmahatyāyutaḥ kaṇṭho nistejā vyacaran mahīm //

Then that best of sages was killed with a weapon by Kaṇṭha; / burdened with the sin of killing a brahmin, Kaṇṭha wandered over the earth, bereft of lustre.
