annaṃ vastraṃ hiraṇyaṃ ca yo dadyād agrajanmane /
sa yāti śāṅkaraṃ lokam iti me satyabhāṣitam //
Whoever gives food, clothing, and gold to a Brahmin,
he goes to the realm of Śaṅkara; this is spoken truly by me.
