mārkaṇḍeya uvāca:
tasyaivānantaraṃ pārtha kapilātīrtham uttamam /
sthāpitaṃ kapilenaiva sarvapāpapraṇāśanam //

Mārkaṇḍeya said: / Immediately after that, O son of Pṛthā, is the excellent Kapilātīrtha, / installed by Kapila himself, destroying all sins.
