vedāntagāya dātavyā tasya tat tvaṃ vijānate /
vedāntage tu sā deyā śrotriye 'bhūtabālakā //
It should be given to one who has reached the end of the Veda, to one who understands its reality; / it should be given to one who has mastered the Vedānta, to a learned Vedic scholar whose children are free from calamity,
