tena devagaṇāḥ sarve nirastā dānavena ca /
nalamegho na vadhyo 'taś calitena mayā suraiḥ //

All the hosts of gods have been routed by that Dānava. / Therefore Nalamegha cannot be slain by me [or] by the gods taking action.
