janārdana uvāca:
svasthānaṃ yāntu gīrvāṇā vadhiṣyāmi mahābalam /
sthānaṃ śaṃsantu me devā vasate yatra durmatiḥ //

Janārdana said: / 'Let the gods go to their own place; I will slay the very mighty one. / Let the gods declare to me the place where that evil-minded one dwells.'
