snānamātreṇa tac caiva naśyet pāpamanekadhā /
yamalokaṃ na paśyec ca na tyajet pāṇḍunandana //

By mere bathing, all that sin of many kinds is destroyed. / He shall not see the world of Yama, nor shall he be abandoned, O son of Pāṇḍu.
