mārkaṇḍeya uvāca:
snānatarpaṇakṛtyāni kṛtāni ca dvijottamaiḥ /
vyāsakuṇḍaṃ tato gatvā homaṃ samyagakārayan //
Mārkaṇḍeya said: / The duties of bathing and libation offerings were performed by the best of the twice-born; / then, having gone to the Vyāsakuṇḍa, they properly performed the fire oblation.
