ṛcam ekāṃ japet snātaḥ sāmavedaphalaṃ labhet //

One should offer libations to gods, ancestors, and men according to rule, O king; / having bathed, if one mutters a single verse of the Ṛgveda, one obtains the fruit of the Sāmaveda.
