vyāsa uvāca:
jaya devi namo varade śivade jaya pāpavimardini śūlakare /
jaya bhairavadehavilīnakare jaya devi pitāmahasannamite //

"Victory to you, O goddess! Homage, O giver of boons, giver of auspiciousness! Victory, O crusher of sins, trident in hand!
Victory, O you who dissolve in the body of Bhairava! Victory, O goddess reverenced by the Grandfather!
