mārkaṇḍeya uvāca:
tato gacchet tu rājendra eraṇḍīsaṅgameśvaram /
prakhyātaṃ sarvalokeṣu brahmahatyāpraṇāśanam //

Mārkaṇḍeya said:
Then one should proceed, O king of kings, to Eraṇḍīsaṅgameśvara, / renowned in all the worlds, which destroys [the sin of] brahmahatyā.
