pramāṇaṃ sarvadharmeṣu brahmaviṣṇuśivoditam /
anyathā kurute yas tu narake patati dhruvam //

The authority in all religious duties is that which was spoken by Brahmā, Viṣṇu, and Śiva; / but whoever acts otherwise surely falls into hell.
