na yathā ghaṭam ānena mṛtpiṇḍaḥ svayam ṛcchati /
tathājñābuddhibhāvena na tiṣṭhet prakṛtiḥ svayam //
Just as a lump of clay does not turn into a pot by itself, / so nature cannot operate of itself, lacking command and intellect.
