narmadātaṭam āśritya snātukāmo mahābalaḥ /
nikṣipyāpūjayad devaṃ kṛtvā jāpyaṃ janeśvaraḥ //
Resorting to the bank of the Narmadā, wishing to bathe, the mighty one
set it down and worshipped the god, having performed his chanting, O lord of men.
